Blood Borne Pathogens

This one hour course is designed to provide guidelines to substantially reduce your chance of contracting blood borne diseases on the job. It is based on the guidelines developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Protection (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to protect workers from bloodborne pathogen hazards. After taking this class you will understand how to avoid unnecessary exposure to contagious diseases at your workplace by protecting yourself and others.
OSHA mandates that employees be trained on your Exposure Control Program, hazards in your workplace, engineering and process controls to limit exposure at your facility, and other company specific items.
